A native of the tri-state area and a recent transplant to the storied New Orleans music scene, multi-instrumentalist and composer Kyle Cripps graduated Summa Cum Laude from Temple University’s Esther Boyer College of Music and is currently studying for his Master’s Degree at the University of New Orleans as a recipient of the prestigious Basin Street Scholarship, a full-tuition, room, and board award. He has performed with Jimmy Heath, Clark Terry, Ellis Marsalis, Eric Revis, Orrin Evans, Irvin Mayfield, Gerald Veasley, Matt Perrine, Byron Landham, Jason Marsalis and Brian Coogan.
